Handbuilt porcelain vase made using coil techniques. Outside is naturally glazed by fire and ash from the woodfire kiln. Inside is glazed with shino, making the vase water tight to hold flowers.

Measurements: 6" tall x 6" wide, 2.5" wide at vase opening

*Fun fact: this piece was fired in the annual reduction cool wood fire. A firing technique that involves fueling the kiln with large amounts of wood and then sealing the kiln up so that all the oxygen is removed. This creates more crystalized textures within the glaze. The reduction cool fire happens only once a year!
