Handbuilt porcelain taper candle holder made using slab method. Fired in a woodfired kiln and glazed naturally by fire and ash. Fits a variety of taper candle sizes. To secure candle, melt the end and adhere into the holder.

Measurements: 4" tall x 2.5" wide at base

*Fun fact: this piece was fired in the annual reduction cool wood fire. A firing technique that involves fueling the kiln with large amounts of wood and then sealing the kiln up so that all the oxygen is removed. This creates more crystalized textures within the glaze. The reduction cool fire happens only once a year!
