Handbuilt stoneware vase made using coiling methods. This vase was first fired in a wood kiln but I was not pleased with the results so I glazed it with a glaze called "fossil rock" and fired it in the reduction kiln. Inside is glazed making it water tight and able to hold flowers. Use as a vase or utility vessel.

Measurements: 4" tall x 4" wide, 2" wide at vase opening

*Small discount applied due to the wadding (a buffer between the kiln shelf and piece) sticking to the bottom. I have dremeled and sanded it down as much as possible but it does give the piece a slight wobble.

*Fun fact: because this vase went through two kiln firings, it took over 200 hours to get this final result, a few bits of wood kiln debris can be found on one side (does not impact quality).
